This project for 78 households (HHs). This area is covered by Gurung and Kumal ethnic groups. Before to success this project people had to depend to the Marshayandi River for drinking water. They had loose big money for medicine due to the cause of water born diseases and women and small children had to spend lots of time for fetching water to fulfill their daily requirement. We believe that, every stakeholder will grow some green vegetables in their kitchen garden in the future.

It is the ground water supply project. The source is in Tanahun district and supply to Gorkha district through Matshayandi River. The total pipe line/ main line are 1,500 meter distance from the water source to water distribution tank (RBT). There are 6 taps are installed. It was so challenging job and risk job for pipeline on the Marshayandi River (few weeks ago Mrs. Karin Puttkammer already presented PowerPoint). To conduct this project, NHHO collected  some amount from stakeholders (NRs.500 per house). The water source is situated 460 meter and water supply altitude is 452 meter from the sea level.
